Today I also don't know why I decided to have a so healthy breakfast. At first I think to have dimsum on a nearby restaurant but feel tire to see the crowd. Later saw this, I think maybe should give it a try. Green Garden Organic Recipe is located at the 2nd floor, above a Castrol Car Service Center at Bandar Menjalara, Kepong. They have quite extended menu, from east to west dishes available here.

Tropicanal City Mall - Churros Royale
Refer to Churros Royale Official Page, Churros is developed in Spain, the churro is a tasty snack that has made its way around the world. While some cultures have made a few minor modifications to churro, the delicious thin, fried dough creation has really changed very little over the years. Today, as in the past, churros are often dipped into cups of hot chocolate and enjoyed at breakfast. However, many people have also discovered that churros make an excellent snack.

Damansara Utama - Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dimsum
This year we decided to go for a Mother's Day "Early Celebration". Not only we celebrate a week earlier than actual day, but we also have our eating session early the morning. We want to eat dimsum so I suggest Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dimsum. I know Jin Xuan got very good reputation on their food but honestly I not really like it.

One Utama - 許留山 Hui Lau Shan Healthy Dessert
I saw this 許留山 Hui Lau Shan Healthy Dessert review from the "I Come, I See, I Hunt and I Chiak" foodie blog. Its look so interesting and I quickly ask my Huge Mango Fan friend to go with me ^..^. Refer to the blog, this is a Famous Dessert chain from Hong Kong. One Utama Shop is the first in Malaysia. When I reach there, I already can see a big "Q" but since we only 2 person, its not so hard to get a place. The seating is not so comfortable as you need to sit too close to the table next to you. And the service is a bit messy, no system, wrong order and confusing food deliver. We have to keep on checking the order with the waitress, and finally our food is serve after we wait for nearly 30 minutes!

One Utama - Xiao Bar Wang
Located at One Utama, LG Floor Old New Wing, Xiao Bar Wang, serve authentic Taiwanese snacks. Compare to other Taiwanese stall like Farmosa and Shilin, here got lesser choice in their menu. No oyster :-(. But they do have some very simple noodles and rice set in more affordable price. Here also using the paper bowl and plastic container and its just feeling like we 'tapau' (take-away) the food from the street market. The different is the environment here is more cozy and relaxing.

UPDATED : I revisit for other broth base...
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.390848230965113.85307.248025758580695&type=1
New Kid on the block!! Hometown Steamboat is one of the newly added eating place at Dataran Sunway Kota Damansara. This area really spoilt for choice. So many food to eat and still see a lot of restaurant is under renovation. While waiting for the opening of their 3rd branch at Kepong that is very near to my house, I come to Kota Damansara branch to eat first. This place quite easy to find, just opposite the Vicchuda Tomyam and have a very bright orange colour signboard.

Cari-cari Makan @ HatYai - Day 3 • Nasi Lemak
Finally, its time to go home! Before we proceed to the air port, we had our breakfast at a Muslim Mamak Restaurant at Hat Yai. We have their Hat Yai Version Nasi Lemak ♥ The rice is fluffy and unlike Malaysia version, the rice is cooked with ginger. The Spicy Hot Sambal also cook with ginger. Serve together with the boneless fried chicken, egg, cucumber, carrot and crunchy ikan bilis.

Cari-cari Makan @ HatYai - Day 2 Part 3 • Bar B. Q. Plaza
We had our lunch at Bar.B.Q Plaza located at the ground floor of Central Departmental Store. I know we can eat this in Malaysia, but trust me, once you go to any places at Thailand, give this a try. Taste a little bit different. More delicious and the pork meat is really fresh and without any funny porky smell. Their chilli also more spicy ♥
Cari-cari Makan @ HatYai - Day 2 Part 1 • 福口莉Dim Sum
The next day we wake up to go to visit their Big Market. We target on the Zebra Brand Stainless Steel Kitchenware. My sister wondering did they sell dim sum and what to her liking, we really saw a signage said selling dim sum! So wait what, we follow the signage go to the restaurant. Nice environment, friendly lady boss. The dim sum is small size and I like their meat pau the much.
Cari-cari Makan @ HatYai - Day 1 Part 4
After some eating session and light shopping, we shoot some photo and head back to hotel. Have a small nap and after a nice shower we went out to exploring the night street market nearby our hotel. The market look quiet, less customers therefore they also refuse to give discount. I just end-up buy 2 watch and go to eat again!
Cari-cari Makan @ HatYai - Day 1 Part 3 • Klonghae Floating Market
Finish shopping, we go back to hotel and ask for transport to go to their famous Klonghae Floating Market. This floating market is not inside the town so you can ask for taxis or the TUK TUK. We call for taxi from the hotel and its cost THB500 for 2 way. The driver will sent you there and wait you finish shop and sent you back to hotel. Approximately we stay at the Floating Market for about 2 hours. The floating market is only open from Friday to Sunday - 3pm till 9pm.
Cari-cari Makan @ HatYai - Day 1 Part 2
Once we reach the Southern of Thailand, we immediately proceed to check-in at Hotel New Season and go out to search for some interesting Thai Food. Our first stop is at a Noodle House at Petchaburi Road. Personally I think their beef noodles is the signature food but since we cannot take beef, we go for the pork version. The pork meat and pork ball is tender, soft and fresh. I like their kuay teow that is the fat type. Although the soup is clear but once you add in their famous chilli powder…YUMMYYY!!!

Cari-cari Makan @ HatYai - Day 1 Part 1
It is merely 2 months after the Lee Garden Plaza Hotel explosion incident and now I am here at this once a so happening and crowded heaven for eating, shopping and entertainment. The happening and all night long activities are no more colouring the downtown of Hat Yai. The street have lesser tourist and even look bore.
With the air ticket from Air Asia I bought some half year ago during their fare, I can reach Hat Yai in less than 2 hour!! We have some breakfast at KLIA LCCT before depart. I choose Theobroma Chocolate Lounge but this is truly a wrong decision. Trust me, unless you got 3 hours extra until your boarding time, then only you dine here. Or else you may MISS YOUR FLIGHT!! The food is nice but pricey, BUT THE MOST TERIBBLE thing is the service..OMG take more than half hour to serve a very simple breakfast!!!

Kuchai Lama - Pick-Me-Up
Pick-Me-Up become latest favourite eating spot for the dessert lover. Here definitely serve something different from other Taiwanese or Hong Kong Style Dessert around the country. Their own special mix and match menu really impressive although they charge higher than other place.
Although the hero of the Pick-Me-Up is their signature Taiwan Tower Shave Ice, I personally prefer their Fruity-Ice-Pick more. 3 flavous available; Mango, Blueberry and Strawberry Ice. Choose to have it with Soft Ice-Cream or Frozen Yoghurt, and then choose 3 topping. I opt for Blueberry Soft Ice-Cream with, Taro Ball, Cornflakes and Orea. The Shave Ice is smooth and flavourful while the Soft Ice-Cream is so soft. Its tasted like those Ice-Cream I have from the Ice-Cream Van during my school time. Bring back sweet memory :-p

SS2 - Restaurant Ho Ho Sek
The corner shoplot on SS2 Chow Yang has been a landmark for good hawker food. Previously, the famous prawn noodles, Lim Mee Yoke is operate here but now they move to another shop, same area but at the back row of shoplot. Now no more traditional and old time hawker kopitiam but is a modern and creative design restaurant named Ho Ho Sek. Despite the modern outlook, they still remain same hawker stall but slightly expensive and small portion, maybe cause by the new makeover.

Taman Desa - Gerai Makan Japanese BBQ 大众烧肉
Just try on the Yakiniku or Japanese BBQ at Taman Desa. Located inside the back alley of Plaza Faber in Taman Desa neighbourhood this is not an ordinary Japanese foods eating place that is normally classy and unique. The setting and environment just somewhere like local mamak stall. So do get ready to sweat!!
The BBQ also in a very simple and traditional way. Grill on top of a traditional pot of charcoal, like those Chinese use for praying purpose :-p. So with open air and charcoall BBQ, just feel like BBQ at home. Maybe next time should DIY the pot and do it at home!
