Restoran Chou Shun Kan is another Yakiniku I visited recently. Look like I really like BBQ huhu. Restoran Chou Shun Kan is located at Laman Rimbunan Kepong, the upper floor of Chatime. If you familiar with Kepong, sure know this place. Unlike other BBQ restaurants in this area which use electric or gas stoves, Chou Shun Kan uses charcoal stove. Honestly grill with charcoal is more fun and the dish is usually more fragrant and delicious.

Jan Jan Thai Restaurant looks similar to Janwa Thai Restaurant located at Bandar Menjalara Kepong. Infact both restaurant is only separate by an open car park. From the shop deco till the menu, it is 99% same. I not so sure what is their terms of relationship but overheard the lady Boss said that she prviously from Janwa.
Despite the all look alike, the food serve here is less delicious than Janwa (Oops now only I notice I never blog for Janwa even eat there few times :-p).
This morning I suddenly in the mood for a luxurious brunch, so I bring my nephew, Eugene to visit Amelio Artisan Breads & Bites at Desa Park City. A friend do tell me that Amelio offer great breakfast and YES, they do. This cosy European-Style cafe serve freshly-brewed coffee, homemade pastries and a wide selection of interesting western foods; tomato soup to crisp salads, meaty sandwiches and rich, creamy pasta dishes, Pies and pizzas. Besides that Amelio also offer more affordable (although still very pricey :-p) set meal. Too many choices!! It is a difficult decision: what to have to eat? And this is our final decission....

Our final Eating Spot is at Bukit Tinggi BBQ and of course it is located at Bukit Tinggi. Hide behind the BHP Petrol Station this place is crowded eventhough the food is so expensive! This is not really a bbq or grilling place eventhough they name it like that but is some Chinese Restaurant that serve some unique food.
After some shopping at the market we go to the famous Kow Po Ice Cream for some ice cream. This is my second visit whereas first time for other family members. During my first visit I try the ABC Special that I feel not nice so this time I opt for the 2 scope Ice cream. In fact we all go for 2 scope except my mum, I order the ABC Special for her.
We are plan to reach Bentong before 8.30am so we can eat the famous Hooi Kee Wanton Mee but too bad all also cannot wake up so we only manage to reach Bentong by 9.30. Once we reach there, Hooi Kee is so full so we decided to try other restaurant. After some searching, we settle down at Kedai Kopi Poon, the corner shop at the Sunday Market around Chui Yin Street.
Daidamon is Yakiniku or BBQ Buffet that located at Great Eastern Mall, Ampang. Its cost RM55.90++ per person. This is an Pork Free ala-carte Buffet and you need to grill your own food. And here we go; Sek Fook Teow Chew Porridge that is located at Laman Rimbunan Kepong (facing main road, in between Ding Tea and Sweet Hut).

Here another coupon purchase from Dealmates.com. Lucky this is very easy to booking and the service also not bad and the owner also very friendly. BUT since we not familiar with the area of Jalan Loke Yew, it take us ages to reach it!! Another LOST and FOUND place. Wondering if I want to go again I manage to find it or not. Oyah, Fraser Business Park is just somewhere behind VIVA Mall. OK, stop talk rubbish here, lets see what the package offer...
Nyonya Restaurant serve Authentic Nyonya cuisine has always been my favourite because I love a fusion of Chinese and Malay cooking. Located at the seclude area of SS2, Restaurant Nyonya still have the capability to create the crowd with their simple and nice dish. Normally I only visiting this place for company lunch with the boss but this time I manage to persuade my friends to dine here after working hour and this cause they stuck in the terrible jam when heading to SS2!! :-p
It is quite a while I didn't purchase any Discount Coupon because the quality of offer item really drop and a little bit not value for money. But lately I back in action because some of it really look interesting and I think can give it a try. With this voucher, I can get a RM10 for RM20 Cash voucher on all Desserts & Dim Sum (Non-Halal) at One Dessert, SS2. One Dessert is a newly open restaurant and offers a wide selection of desserts, from healthy dessert to sinful dim sum.
Restaurant Sek Me Choy serve Peppery Bah Kut Teh (Lat Tong) and the main shop at Salak South is once introduce by Ah Xian in his famous Taste with Jason ( 阿贤人情味) show. This time I just dine at the Kepong branch that is located at the Bandar Menjalara Kepong and opposite Tesco Kepong Village. This restaurant is always full house in whatever time I passby.

Restaurant Wei Sun which is famous with the signature dish; Drunken Lou Mee is located at Bandar Menjalara, Kepong opposite Tesco Kepong Village. The design and environment of the restaurant just look like any other ordinary Chinese Restaurant and you may miss out the speciality of the restaurant if they didn't put up the promotion ads.

Here another Melaka Eating trip! But this time just 1 day, therefore not must can eat. Left my house around 6.45pm and reach home by 8.45pm. What a tire but fun eating day :-). This time I want try something I never ate before and main focus at Jonker Street and the place nearby.
Here is the Food Glossary for my 1-Day Cari-cari Makan @ Melaka~Seremban :
1st Stop :
Yong Moh Coffee Shop
32, Jalan Tukang Emas, 75200, Melaka.
(Opposite the Mosque)
As per my planning, the next stop will be Nadeje at Mahkota Parade. So we proceed to Mahkota Parade and had some shopping. Then we head to Nadeje but OMG!! So long Q. Feel sick with it, we think must go to other place. But too bad, since both of us are using UMobile and its is unable to connect to the internet we cant search anything to replace this plan. And we can't back to Jonker Street as that area already start JAM!!! So end up just go to Donald and Lily because they just move to new shop, somewhere near Jalan Kota Laksamana.
Of course the Sate Babi are always in my list when I visiting Melaka. But normally I won't go back to the same shop eventhough I really enjoy the Sate Babi at Sun May Hiong Pork Satay. This time we are visiting Ming Sate Hut because must run away from Jonker Street since its and the neighbour is started to be over crowded and every where also very long Q!!
Once the rain stop, we quickly start our shopping activity. After some minor shopping at Sam Sup Gong, we went to East & West Rendevous for some cendol. Located at the narrow road in between Sam Sup Gong and Chung Wah Chicken Rice Ball, this is a place to sell Nyonya Kuih. I may passby here everytime go to Melaka but never notice they serve cendol until I read the review from Apple Foodees.
After some light Chinese-style breakfast we decided to walk and shop around Jonker Street but its RAIN!! So we have no choice but look for another place to settle down before continue our journey. At first I plan to visit Calanthe Art Cafe located at Jalan Hang Kasturi for their famous laksa as brunch, but with the unavoidable situation I reach this place a little bit more early and too bad the laksa is not ready!!.
As a Eco-Save Driver, I need about 2 hours to reach Melaka from Kepong, KL. Reach they its already near 9.00 am. So we proceed to our first eating place. I got 2 plan, either eat Mee Sua or the Popular Pork Bun and final decision is the latter. Its take me a few turn and walk then only can found this shop. Located at Jalan Tukang Emas, and opposite a Mosque, here I enjoy my Pork Bun breakfast very much :-p
