In my earlier post about QUAN WEI RESTAURANT 金味亚参鱼 there is some story about the history of this Family Business. Before we left Muar, we met up with my Brother In Law at his house for a little bit Assam Fish Feast. This is his family business but now is operate by his younger brother. Located at Kampung Parit Jamil, Parit Jawa, Restoran Chun Hui have more than 10 years experience in selling the Assam Fish.

After some mess up planning on 1st day, we are back to Glutton Street for breakfast. This street is just in a walking distance from our hotel; Street View. This is my second visit to Glutton Street in half year ;-p Unfortunately, maybe too early, a lot of stall still closed.

We go to Tanjung Emas for some walk before dinner. The place is crowded and after some photo shooting in the smelly river, we back to hotel to look for what to eat at Glutton Street.

After some rest at hotel, we go to the place that I really want to go after saw the post by Johor Kaki. This is a cute Hello Kitty Concept Restaurant. Even though I not a fan for this Cat without mouth but I really amazed by the creativity and beautiful interior. Such a good job.

After the burning hot lunch plus the super sunny weather, we decided to have some refreshment behind Restaurant Quan Wei. I can see this MuarTown Kopitiam can consider as one of the modern and nicely decorate kopitiam in Muar.

A trip to Muar without trying any Assam Pedas is truly incomplete. This is the reason why we are visiting Muar. This time we were try on 2 different restaurant that operate by 2 brothers respectively. Here is some of the history.... The parent start the business (Restoran Chun Hui 全妃亞參魚(亞答屋) with just a small stall outside the house at Parit Jawa. Then the business expand and later its time for the parent to retire so they past the home business to one of the son while another son start a new restaurant at town area. OK, lets stop with all the grandmother story as the food is more important!

After the heavy breakfast we have some walk at Jonker Street. It is so HOT!! So we think to left Melaka and proceed to Muar, our main destination. Before left must eat a bowl of cendol first. As usual,people start Q at Jonker 88 but honestly I try once and don't like it. So normally will go to the next shop, Jonker 86 that have more extensive menu.

During the Haji Holiday, we are head down to Muar for some makan-makan trip. Muar is my Brother In Law hometown so we are purposely here to try their family business Assam Pedas. Anywere with some unavoidable matters he unable to join us but we still resume our plan, therefore we add in Melaka as part of our makan-makan trip.

Its still raining so we just had our dinner nearby before head to the airport. This time we eat at Restaurant Kampung Boy that serve Malay Local Cuisine, Thai Cuisine, Kelantanese Cuisine and Western Cuisine. Kampung Boy have extensive menu and the environment also clean and spacious. Atleast don't have cat wandering around.

After the Ah Chuan Wanton mee we thought to visit Pulau Kukup but once reach there super heavy rain like no tomorrow. So nothing we can do, we drove back to JB and have some window shopping at KSL. Walk around we saw this so just keep it a try. BUT..very expensive.

I always said want to try the famous Pontian Wanton Mee and don't why this time my brother offer to sent us there. We travel around 45 minutes from JB just for a plate of Wanton Mee. Sound funny right?? But we really do that!!

After the great and tiring experience at LEGOLAND, we have some eating session (Like Usual) at Johor Bahru. But this time our plan may a little bit affected by the heavy rain around JB, so during the 1st day dinner we only settle at Sutera Mall.

We also have our lunch at Pizza Mania that is located at the IMAGINATION section. The Pizza Mania is a modern atmosphere designed for the whole family to enjoy a good and fantastic pizza & pasta. Besides pizza and pasta, here also serve salads, garlic bread, chicken tenders, fresh cut fruit cups, desserts, ice cream and assortment of beverages.

Last Friday, my sister said she got 5 free ticket to Legoland!! From planning till the time we arrived at Legoland is less than 24 hour!! It is crazy??? Yah it is really crazy but FUN. Since we save the ticket price, we go by Air Asia ^..^ and ask my brother who stay at JB to come to fetch us.

Taman Paramount, Seapark - Fatty Gan Bah Kut Teh 肥仔肉骨茶

Although I work quite near to Seapark but I seldom lunch here because hate the parking. Really very hard to find one and most of the restaurant is so pack!! In one raining afternoon, my colleague bring me here for lunch.

Seremban - Kedai Makanan Seremban 芙蓉烧蟹海鲜村

We are purposely head down to Seremban just for this Baked Crab!! I do have good eating experience during my previous visit on another restaurant (here) but this time I decided to patrolling the most famous Seremban Baked Crab...that is quite dissapointed >..<

Jalan Ipoh - Ming Heang Seafood Restaurant (明香冷气海鲜酒家)

I seldom patrolling any Classic Chinese Restaurant unless there is any Family Dinner or Wedding Dinner. I don't like it take too long to finish a dinner and sometimes the portion is too big till unable to finish even by 10 persons!!

TTDI - Love@First Bite

Love @ First Bite is a café-cum-bakery located in the central area of TTDI, facing the main square. Here serve breads, buns, cakes and also offers all-day dining; western, dessert and local dish.

Kepong - Khuntai Authentic Thai Restaurant

Khunthai Authentic Thai Restaurant (Kepong) is a popular Thais Food Restaurant at Kepong. Located at Aman Puri Kepong, this restaurant offers Thai delicacies specialising on BBQ and seafood dishes.

SS2 - 吹吹水 ISLAND CAFE

Its must have some restaurant that you use to passby but never think to give it a try. Why? I also don't know why :-p. This is what happen to 吹吹水 ISLAND CAFE at SS2. I had try everything around it but really don't know why I keep skip this. OK until 1 day when I out of idea what to eat, finally I here for lunch.

SS2 - Chan Meng Kee

I use to passby this restaurant during my lunch break but never think to step in till I watch Taste with Jason 阿贤人情味 last Sunday then only I decided to give it a try!! Normally Jason will do review out of KL...so it is so happy that this time he do something that really near to me.

Kepong - Ssikkek Korean Grill BBQ Buffet

Unable to order too many dish when dine in Korean BBQ restaurant because of 'too pricey'? Worry No More!!! Ssikkek Korean Grill BBQ Buffet is now open to fulfill your wish to eat as much as you can!!! Sound great right. Located at Laman Rimbunan Kepong, the restaurant is simple and cozy. It charge RM14.90 NETT/pax (Lunch) and RM39.90 NETT/pax (Dinner) with more ingredients.
